  1. Tanzania trip, malaria has had a devastating impact there, over 1 million died last year. Pesticide treated bed nets help prevent malaria infested mosquitoes. Bed nets are only $2.00 each. 203C Baldwin Hall to donate. www.uga.edu/spia for more info.

  1. Thursday Bingo at Athens Health and Rehab (St. Mary’s) at 6:45pm
  2. Monday Boys and Girls Club homework help, sign up sheet for those interesting in tutoring in math and social studies 2-3 times a week passed around.
  3. This Sat is Rivers Alive. It is from 9-1, for more info contact sara26@uga.edu
  4. Fall Festival at the Boys & Girls club sign up sheet for corporate sponsors, get sheets for information. 1 page for instructions, 1 page for phone call, 1 page for each corporation you’ll send a letter to.
  5. Midpoint is Oct 18th, if you have 10 hours by midpoint, you’ll get a prize!

Speaker

  1. My House- Youth shelter for medically challenged children, offers rehabilitation. Completely nonprofit. Mystery Service will be on Monday, Oct. 10 at Whitney’s apartment (directions will be sent later) at 7:00 pm. This is a 2 hour mystery service, 1 hour for making the item + $5 to help cover the cost of items. www.myhouseweb.org for more info.

  3. Tabitha Korona and Savannah Ashley are running for president. They will speak at next chapter and chapter will vote on Oct 11th.
  4. Membership

  5. Tues 18th is the Parade of Littles
  6. Tues 25th is Revealings for Big/Lil. Wear your Halloween costume to chapter that night, since the social is downtown right afterwards!

  1. Formal was awesome!!!
  2. Committee Meeting after chapter tonight
  3. Formal shirts will be given out next week, and Luau shirts will be given out after that.

  3. Safe Campuses now, DUI prevention speaker 7-8:00 at GA Hall Oct 12th, 1 hour of service if you attend.
  4. Homecoming- Banner will be in Tate, so look for it! Also, Oct 16th from 12:00-2:00 am is streetpainting. Homecoming is the 22nd!
