Call to order 9:12

President:

→Elections for new President for spring and fall 2006

→Nov 5^th Paintball tournament in Atlanta with another GammaSig chapter. More info TBA.

→Nov 3^rd at 7:00 pm in Cleveland, GA the girls from North Ga College are bowling and have invited our chapter. If any one is interested in the above activities, notify Morgan: mbc1013@uga.edu

Service:

→Bingo Thursday night at 6:45, Athens Health and Rehab (the nursing home formerly known as St. Mary’s)

→Saturday, October 15^th- RIVERS ALIVE! 9am-1pm @ Dudley Park. Carpooling is offered, if you know CPR and volunteer to be on a team, you will receive ½ extra service hour! Contact Sara Johnson with any questions: sara26@uga.edu

→Monday: Boys and Girls Club homework help

Mystery Service with three different locations:

1. O-House at 8:00 pm

2. Reserve Apartments at 7:00 pm with Allison Lange

→Fall Festival: don’t forget to contact your corporate sponsors! There are sign ups for committees including day-of (help set up and take down day of), supplies (in charge of getting supplies for games, etc), and corporate sponsors. Sign up for a committee!

→Voted for Sister of the month and nominations were held for all other spring/fall 2006 positions.

Membership:

→membership meeting cancelled

→treasure hunt postponed until further notice!

→price break down for big/little: $5 if getting a little with no shirt, $10 if you’re not getting a little but want a shirt, and $15 if you are getting a little and a shirt for your little

→DO NOT LOSE LITTLE INFO SHEETS!!!

→Big/Lil week starts Wed the 19^th, 20, 23, and 24^th. The themes are candy, UGA, GammaSig, and then whatever else you want + their revealing item (a costume if at all possible!)

→T-shirts will be given out at revealings; don’t forget to come to chapter dressed up for Halloween!!!

Social:

→formal shirts are in, pick them up after chapter!

→Halloween shirt sign up passed around, $10 now but may be $11 if a pocket is added. Have you sign up and pay by next chapter!

→ Corn maze is Oct 20^th at 6:00 at Washington Farms. The website is washingtonfarms.net. It is $5 and is only for sisterhood bonding (only GammaSig girls can come)

→Social committee Meeting tonight after chapter

→Phi Kappa Psi’s Halloween party is the 20^th at their house on Milledge, all are invited!

Treasurer:

→ALL dues are due next week!!

Alumni Liaison:

→FOUNDER’S DAY!! $ Due tonight, service project will be completed at Founders Day. 11:30-1:30, business casual.

Other Announcements:

→Mandatory fundraiser is a date auction that will take place on Nov 14^th. More info TBA

→November 1^st is Diversity chapter! It will be in Ga Hall, bring a pillow!!

→New elected president for spring/fall 2006 is Savannah Ashley.

Homecoming:

→Street painting is Oct 16^th at Midnight

→T-shirts for homecoming will be here at chapter next week!
